We truly underestimated Arizona. The landscapes and beauty were beyond incredible. On this day, we did an all inclusive tour from Sedona stopping at the Cameron Trading Post, Horseshoe Bend, the Glen Canyon Dam, lunch included at a really cool old outback spot, and finished off the day at Antelope Canyon. The drive in and of itself is an experience as it is through the Navajo Indian reservation. Every single thing that we saw on this tour was amazing and definitely gave us perspective. I would love to come back and re-live these experiences and uncover more of what Arizona, and the US have to offer.

Nothing makes you feel more invincible than standing atop views like this. No guides, no safety boundaries, just a free for all to take it all in and experience the beauty. Before visiting, we had no idea what to expect. It was just a part of the tour, and we of course were along for the ride. This sight was AMAZING, and a can’t miss if you are in Arizona. I would definitely return for this experience.
Antelope Canyon is another experience unlike any other. We had the sweetest Native American guide who led us through the canyon giving us all the info, pointing out different shapes and points of light within the canyon, and directing us for the most amazing photos. Again, another magical experience and a CAN’T MISS.
Glen Canyon Dam
A really cool sight to see – the second biggest dam in the country. You’ll get to wander on your own through the visitor center with lots of different facts and info about the dam and it’s history.
Cameron Trading Post
All authentic handmade Native American products made on reservations. So many of these are stunning and it was so hard to choose given the short shopping time. If you’re not in Arizona, they also can ship the products to you. You can check out their website here. Not only are these products beautiful, but if you didn’t know, many Native Americans live in serious poverty. Of the money spent, it feels really great to contribute and help these great people.

It being the middle of winter and all, it wasn’t easy finding a variety of appliqued denim, similar to the one I am wearing. However I think the point here was more about choosing something a little bolder than basic. With neutral colors like in this outfit, I liked having a denim piece that stood out.
