Hi Everyone,
Happy Friday! Hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy and safe. Just as many others, I have definitely been taking advantage of this time to focus on things for myself and my home. One thing I have especially enjoyed doing is cooking and experimenting with different recipes. Weekend brunches can still be a thing even if from the comfort of your own home.

I know supermarkets are emptying out and no one wants to be on a scavenger hunt for things to cook. These recipes are super easy and don’t involve crazy ingredients that you wouldn’t be able to find. I couldn’t decide between savory and sweet so I made them both. I made these easy buttermilk and pepper biscuits, homemade sausage (SUPER easy), and cream gravy (EASIEST), with eggs two ways. I had them plain and simply scrambled on the side as well as fried on top of my homemade hash with peppers, onions, beans, and spices.

At first, these lemon ricotta fritters got me a little nervous but ended up turning out PERFECTLY and were such a hit. They were so light and delicious and I’ve used this homemade jam/sauce on so many other things as well, like on my yogurt, pound cake or really anything else you have laying around. I realized how easy and fast these were and will be coming back to this recipe all the time!

Let me know if you end up trying any of these recipes out, or if you have any questions about them. Also let me know some of your go-to brunch ideas!💕

May 2, 2020 at 12:17 pmThere are five of us in my house, usually no leftovers 😉
For this particular recipe though, the potatoes end up being good leftovers after the flavors sit together for a while.
