I don’t know about you but I thrive during brunch season! Dining out on a beautiful day along with some day drinking, what could be better? Brunch outfits are also awesome because they can be anything you want it to be. A blend of dressy and casual. I went with this tie front satin crop which is super feminine and simple. A pair of black denim jeans and basic one strap heels, it is a look that’s pretty put together for minimal effort. I threw in the oversized rose gold hoops because why not, and some big black sunnies. I love how you can transform both denim and crop tops into anything, and together it just made for a minimal but semi-glam brunch look.
We dined at Bar Frites in Roslyn Long Island. It is a classic French bistro in food and aesthetic. There is tons of indoor and outdoor dining space and although the outdoor dining is adjacent to the parking lot, I do love the ambience and vibe of this restaurant. Here’s what we ordered:
One of my favorite things to order at French restaurants. If you’re into snails, I highly recommend these. If you’re not, I still recommend them!
Definitely job well done to the calamari. Again, a pretty classic standard order done right.
I love a good French dip sandwich. This one was piled high with rare roast beef (just how I like it) and perfectly crunchy French bread. I also subbed in some truffle fries. I definitely can say it was well executed all around.
