Upscale Mexican Street Food Temerario Chelsea Review

Finally, I ventured out into the city for some brunch, and this new spot made the trip well worth it. We tried Temerario in Chelsea and were definitely not disappointed. Upscale Mexican Street food is the name of the game here. This spot is owned by restauranteur Jorge Guzman of Ofrenda and hotspot The Black Ant. The chef is Mario Hernandez of The Black Ant and La Esquina which has some of my favorite Mexican food in Manhattan. We came across it during a Pulsd promotion (basically like Groupon) and were extremely pleased with everything from A-Z. We had some Mango Margaritas and were expecting to get two each as per the Pulsd promotion but ended up with a pitcher. This margarita was absolutely delicious and I love the fact that it was on the strong side but made with the actual pulp of real mangos. One of the best I have had. Speaking of the best I have ever had – this guacamole – is definitely the best I have ever had.
