- The Empire State Building
Who would have guessed the Empire State Building is one of the most Instagram-worthy places in NYC? Everyone! How could you not think that when you look at this iconic and globally recognized structure? The building is a significant tourist attraction and has been classified as a National Historic Landmark. It is also one of the world’s tallest towers, standing at 1,454 feet. If you genuinely want to see the world from a bird’s perspective, you may purchase tickets for one of the two observatories available. One is located on the 86th floor, while the other is on the 102nd floor. Don’t worry – the Empire State Building looks fantastic from every angle, so you won’t even need to climb it to get photos worth sharing.
- Hudson Yards
Hudson Yard is New York City’s newest neighborhood, with new real estate, a beautiful subway station, delectable eateries, and a plethora of the city’s most Instagrammable spots. One of those spots is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere called The Edge. From here, you will be able to have a 360-degree view of New York City from 100 stories above ground level. Make sure to share such a breathtaking view of Manhattan with your followers.
If you want to experience a unique architectural attraction, then take a 2-minute walk over to The Vessel. Because of its distinctive Bee hive-like form, the Vessel has gotten a lot of attention, especially on Instagram. The Vessels, a one-of-a-kind 150-foot-tall sculpture/spiral staircase structure, is magnificent from afar, but it can also be entered. Although you are not permitted to ascend, the ground floor is open to the public for free.
- Albertine Bookstore
The Upper East Side, commonly known as the UES by locals, was heavily featured on series like Gossip Girl, but the area has much more to offer than what you’ve seen on TV. One such location is the Albertine Bookstore which serves as a simple way to travel to Paris with your feet planted in NYC. This is a reading room and bookshop hidden within the French Embassy nestled in a 1906 Italian Renaissance mansion. The upper level has the feel of a traditional French bookshop, with white-spined books lining the walls and tables piled high with philosophy works and translations. Upstairs, the floors are littered with couches and reading nooks, while the ceiling is adorned with a magnificent celestial landscape.
This neighborhood is home to some of other most Instagrammable places in NYC, such as Central Park, Tiffany & Co’s Blue Box Cafe, The Frick Collection, and the Met. While here, you will have a closer look at the different reasons people relocate to this area and why they generally love living on the Upper East Side. Popular media has taught us that this area is very popular, and its residents seem to agree. However, no matter what, it is a must-see for people wanting to take unique pictures filled with the NYC spirit.
You must go to SOHO, a stylish and creative district in New York City. It is brimming with high-end shops, elegant cafes, and restaurants to suit everyone’s tastes and photo needs. From cobblestone walkways to gorgeous building facades to murals, Soho boasts a variety of Instagrammable spots. Dress in clothes that make you happy and capture the moments when visiting places like the Soho Flower Mural on Allen Street. You can also stop by L’Appartement Sézane’s seasonally changing window display to take a photo of it before it’s gone. On the other hand, The Flower Shop Bakery in SOHO will not only satisfy your craving for good pictures but also for cake truffles.
- The Elevated Acre
When visiting NYC, you may wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We can’t say we blame you! In this situation, we recommend paying a visit to the Elevated Acre. This lush green meadow is tucked between two skyscrapers, high above the busy streets of New York. From such a location, you will be able to see (and take photos of) some of the other most Instagram-worthy places in NYC, such as the Brooklyn Bridge and Hudson River. However, don’t worry, as the park also has many unique elements and amazing landscaping your followers will adore.
- The Met Cloisters
The Met (The Metropolitan Museum of Art) is often talked about and praised. And rightfully so! However, The Met Cloisters receives far less attention than it deserves. This wonderful hidden gem houses an extraordinary array of different forms of European art from the 12th through 15th centuries. It’s tucked away in Fort Tryon Park, and it’s as charming as it is fascinating. If you want to see something new and post photos of an area your followers may not have seen before, this is the place to go. Furthermore, the park nearby has numerous spots to take stunning photographs of yourself or the surrounding area.
7. Coney Island
Coney Island is the last stop on our list of the most Instagrammable places in NYC. There are many things you may do on Coney Island. You can sunbathe on broad expanses of soft sandy beaches and swim in clear water on Coney Island Beach. When famished, put on your spring brunch outfit and head to Gargiulo’s Italian Restaurant, a Coney Island staple. All of these locations, as well as others, will give you plenty of photo ops. When done – relive your youth, enjoy the nostalgia and visit Luna Park on Coney Island. Take picturesque Ferris wheel rides, indulge in some yummy cotton candy, and capture memories you’ll cherish forever.
