New York in December feels like the city itself is celebrating — sparkling lights on every corner, curated holiday windows that feel like mini exhibitions, and a pace that’s somehow hectic and magical all at once. Between the seasonal energy, creative inspiration, and some of my favorite spots around the city, here’s a snapshot of my favorite December moments so far.
Norma Kamali Pre Fall Presentation
Norma Kamali’s Pre-Fall 2026 presentation celebrated human joy and emotional dressing in the age of AI. The collection blended her signature classics — Diana dresses, sporty separates, and leopard prints — with shimmering gold lamé, rich jewel tones, and citrus accents for mood-boosting, day-to-night pieces. Presented in a stripped-down warehouse setting with QR-linked insights from Kamali herself, the show emphasized intuition, feeling, and effortless glamour over algorithmic trends, proving that true luxury is comfort, joy, and human connectio
Wounaan: The artistry of Weaving Sculptures
I had the privilege of seeing the Wounaan exhibit this month, and it was nothing short of mesmerizing. The Colombian Pacific artists transform natural fibers into living, sculptural works that feel both delicate and commanding. Some pieces took months — even years — to complete, and walking through the exhibit felt like stepping into a world where tradition meets contemporary design. Every weave tells a story, and it’s a rare chance to see these masterful creations outside Colombia.
Titanic VR Exhibition At Eclipso
For a different kind of immersion, I experienced the Titanic VR exhibition at Eclipso. It’s a completely unique way to step back in time and feel the scale, design, and drama of the iconic ship. The VR element makes it almost tangible, and it’s a must for anyone who loves history, storytelling, or innovative experiences in the city.
Holiday Market At The Maze
The Maze, a new non-alcoholic members only clubdid not disappoint. From artisanal finds to festive decor, it’s the perfect blend of curated shopping and seasonal charm. I loved discovering small vendors and gifts that feel personal — exactly the kind of things that make holiday shopping fun rather than stressful.
Enjoying Holiday Decor At The Peninsula NYC
Sometimes, a stroll through a beautifully decorated hotel is all the inspiration you need. The Peninsula’s lobby and public spaces are decked out in opulent holiday decor — twinkling lights, towering trees, and whimsical touches that make it feel like stepping into a winter fairy tale. I stopped in for a little glass of wine and some mini beef wellington that was absolutely divine.
Core Club Events
The Core Club Jingle Mingle is the perfect mix of intimate networking, holiday cheer, and stylish attendees. I met a few familiar faces, discovered new creatives, and soaked in the energy that reminds me why the city is such a vibrant hub for culture, fashion, and connection.
Meals Of The Month
Back At Golden Hof
If i haven’t been perfectly clear in the multiple mentions of Golden Hof on ERA en Vogue — I think this is some pretty exceptional food. I have tried a bunch off the menu and also recently interviewed with Owner and Chef, Sam Yoo, which you can check out the complete rundown on my recent feature here.
