I hope everyone has been having a wonderful holiday season so far. For the month of December, I wouldn’t say I hit a hard pause, but it was definitely a lighter season for me as goes events. Of course there were a few intimate holiday parties here, and there and plenty of family time, but here is a small recap of what I did check out that was “new” this month.
Santa’s Secret Show
Let me just start off by saying that this experience is PHENOMENAL. Santa’s Secret is a semi-well-kept secret and easily my favorite holiday activity in NYC. Walk through a few immersive photo opp exhibits. You receive a card at the entrance which prompts you to engage with an exhibit at some point walking through. There is also a var at the entrance to grab a cocktail for your walkthrough. At the top there is the showroom where you have dining and cocktail options. Let me also mention that the food is excellent and much more elevated than you’d imagine at other comparing dinner and a shows. The show itself is also hilarious. It is a burlesque take on the “secrets” of the North Pole. It is sure to be an incredible night out, I HIGHLY recommend.
Radio City Christmas Show
Need I say more, I mean, this show is a classic and a must when visiting NYC for the holiday season. It’s fun and family friendly and especially great for foreign out-of-towners since there isn’t much dialogue to understand.
The Rubis Show Season One Wrap Up Party
Tania Rubis is such a delight to be around – a real genuine and bright personality. We celebrated the wrapping of the first season of her show “The Rubis Show” at Figaro Cafe in Greenwich Village. Bites, cocktails and even a drag Santa performance.
Tusk Bar: NYC’s Best Rated Cocktail Bar
Named one of the best cocktail bars in NYC, I finally got to check out The Tusk Bar/ Brass Restaurant for a little happy hour mixer with industry professionals. The mixology is definitely an art here and I got to try a few of their specialty signature drinks and check out their stunning private dining space.
