Another equally important aspect of the New York Fashion Week scene and line-up is attending the events, parties, and after-parties that pop up. Here are some that I checked out this year.
Latin Ignition Produced by Emilio Estefan

Acclaimed producer Emilio Estefan, who has discovered the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Shakira and more, hosted an incredible event at the Guggenheim Museum. There was a press pre-event where interviews and cocktails were passed around for a select few, a fashion show featuring designers Alvin Valley • Laura Garcia • Nabys Vielman • Cesar Galindo. To close out the night there was a lovely reception in the museum with live music by Latin Group Los Rabanes.
