Here is your hitlist of spots to check out in NYC this St Patty’s Day Weekend that is a little beyond your classic pub crawl.
1. Dead Rabbit
- A classic Irish Owned establishment that is far more than Guinness. This bar serves up some award winning cocktails and an ambiance a little more elevated than your typical pub. Also be sure to check out their sister location “The Irish Exit” for your commute back home for all my Long Island/Jersey folks.
2. Langans
- An elevated and fine dining experience of Irish cuisine with a craft cocktail list and a chic ambiance for the perfect night out. It is the perfect midtown hub that is perfect for a full fancy meal or drinks at the bar.

3. Tara Rose
- Expect a lively ambiance and very extensive menu for both food and cocktails at Tara Rose. They also opened up a new convenient location in midtown this month in the former Alligator Pear space, Tara Mor, offering up a similar intriguing menu and even Irish goodies like imported chips
The Landmark Tavern
- Basically a literal landmark, this is one of the oldest establishments in NYC dating back to 1868 with a welcoming environment with plenty of authentic dishes to choose from.
Swift Hibernian Lounge
- Don’t expect a sport game on TV, or a TV at all. This pub gives off a sexy speakeasy vibe and is the perfect intimate ambiance to check out something off their extensive beer and whisky selection.
