Margarita lovers rejoice! We are a week away from one of every ladies favorite holidays, Cinco de Mayo. There are plenty of festivities to keep you entertained during the holiday weekend and beyond.
La Esquina
When it comes to Mexican spots in Manhattan, La Esquina is basically an institution and always has quite the banger on Cinco De Mayo. This years celebration will be held the day before Cinco de Mayo and who doesn’t love a Sunday funday with enough time to recoop for the next days work day.
Cinco De Mayo Boat Cruise
Have yourself a little fiesta circling the Manhattan skyline from the entire weekend through the 5th you can celebrate while enjoying picturesque views and (hopefully) the beautiful weather we have been having in NYC. Some of these boat parties also include all you can eat and open bar specials!
Visit North America’s Second Best Bar Superbueno
Far more than your classic margarita Superbueno’s cocktail menu is inspired by the food and flavors of Mexico with unique renditions such as their Mole Negroni and their Mushroom Margarita.
Azul On The Roof
Take your tacos from the water to the roof like at Cantina Rooftop or Azul inside Hotel Hugo, which ok is Havana themed restaurant, but still gives me the trendy and festive feeling. Both locations will be offering drink specials all night with Cantina starting the party early with their celebrations on Thursday May 1st.
Check Out Margarita Rumble
Post Cinco De Mayo, the festivities still continue with NYC’s Margarita Rumble and the battle for the city’s best Margarita in the city and ticket holders can vote for their favorites. A few competitors include Dos Caminos, Mezquila, Papatzul and Alma while Sidewalk Tacos providing the snacks. There will also be a live DJ performance.
