3 Immersive Exhibits YOU MUST See In NYC

Leave it to NYC to provide incredible and unique experiences outside of the major landmark and sites to see. Here are three incredible immersive experiences and some amazing things to do in NYC right now!

A perfect activity to take part in during every season is exploring one of the many cool and immersive exhibits that NYC has to offer.

One that I am currently very excited about is in the historic landmarked Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank, now known as “Hall Des Lumieres”. Every 10-12 months there is a new world renowned artist exhibition on display – this one in particular featuring “Chagall, Paris – New York” and a shorter, complimentary exhibition, “Kandinsky, The Odyssey of Abstraction”.
.
A full 360 view of the artist Marc Chagall’s greatest works complemented by short extracts of classical music, klezmer, and jazz. Followed by short exhibit of Kandinsky. Sit back, relax and take it all in.

Mercer Labs

This may now be my personal favorite exhibit. As you know how much I love The Summit, this has a very similar mirrored illusion aspect to it, with different themed rooms. There are fifteen interactive exhibition spaces, unique listening encounters and immersive installations where the relationship between art and technology is challenged. Some of the experiences are 26-foot-high projectors with images surrounding you 360, a room with a 4D sound system (the only one in the world), an installation refered to as The Dragon,” where a total of 500,000 individual LED lights hung on strings adorn a room and are lit up to created 3D videos, a picturesque pink cave, Kuka Robot, the machine behind glass constructing sand castles, sketches and more to amazed onlookers.

The pink flower cave is surely to make some viral instagram posts
Make a wish and send it into the universe during this part of the exhibit
There are interactive moments such as this lifesize chess board and the ball pit.

This exhibit will amaze people of all ages.
