Unless you have been living under a rock, I’m willing to bet you have been noticing chocolate brown as the hottest color of the season. As mentioned in my recent Thanksgiving outfit inspo, Brown is the new black. Here are a few ways to style the trend.
Chocolate Monochrome
100% chocolate. This could almost pass for a full set or a dress but finding similar shades of this espresso brown shade for an effortless and complete look. The leather midi skirt is ultra flattering and sexy with the figure forming twist and large slit. I also pushed the trend to the extreme by adding a chocolate brown lip and brown smokey eye as well as brown accessories.
Light to Dark
While the chocolate brown is still a focal point of the look, playing with different shades of brown also is great to lighten up the look and makes it a little more day to night appropriate. I wore this light taupey turtleneck paired with you guessed it another brown maxi skirt with a sexy slit, except this one was much looser with a more cotton jersey material and wrap detail. This would also be great pared with sneakers for an even more casual daytime look.
Chocolate Brown Accents
For more subtle ways to add chocolate brown to your wardrobe, it is still very trendy to add small pops here and there to tie the looks together. Whether through boots, bags, belts or that bold chocolate brown lip, the shade is the perfect neutral to add to any outfit. Adding pops of brown is also a great way to make your winter while looks more seasonally appropriate.
