Lost Pattern, an emerging brand in the fashion week scene, is one of those brands that just epitomizes Spring/Summer and resort.. This season when launching their collection entitled “Oasis” silks not only were meant literally but the inspiration was drawn form the Silk Road – a passage of exchange, craft and connection.

Their Spring/Summer 2026 collection, shown during New York Fashion Week, leaned fully into what the brand does best — merging heritage, artisanal craftsmanship, fluid materiality, and of course prints and patterns are at the forefront. Lost Pattern has built its reputation on reimagining silks in ways that feel both luxurious and accessible. Silk scarves, draped pieces, bias-cuts, sometimes romantic in sentiment but modern in construction. Of course prints and patterns remain at the forefront as they are a way to preserve memory and nature, turning fashion into a bridge between cultures and communities.

“Oasis” is meant to represent where the vitality of nature meets the fluidity of silk. The prints very nature focused with a plant and stripe motif dominating in the collection. Stripe not in a nautical way but in a soft and relaxed kind of way. This collection almost reminds me of prints taking on the function of basics, and nothing too loud of overpowering making it easy to mix and match. This season especially, colors were muted and neutral, something that personally very much jives with this New Yorker.

The collection gives pretty girl on vacation, the effortless one and done pieces. Vacation as a time to rest and renew really gets to the heart of the collection as the designers phrase is to be “an oasis that offers rest, renewal and hope”. Something we all need a little more of, and you know when the time comes for that awaited retreat, I will be wearing some Lost Pattern.
