Things to do in Greenport, Long Island + Two Piece Sets For Summer

If you have ever been to the north shore of Long Island, odds are you have been to Claudios. It really is a great spot on the water to grab some food and drinks with a view. The food is decent, but it’s more about the location that makes it worth checking out. Also, Paris Hilton’s yacht in the background if you give a shit.

Mahi Mahi Tacos: Picked lettuce, Feta, Spicy Mayo
Lobster Mac and Cheese: 3 cheese blend, Roasted Lobster, Parmesan Cheese

For a little food run down, I ordered the Mahi Mahi Tacos and the Lobster Mac and Cheese. The tacos were great for a light lunch and they were tasty but only when drenched with sauce. Otherwise they were a little dry and I can’t really attest to whether that mahi mahi was fresh or frozen. The Lobster Mac and Cheese was definitely an overall more satisfying choice. Overall I think a lobster roll, or crabcake sandwich (something along those lines) would be the way to go at a place like this. For a drink I got the Berry Tequila Cooler which definitely was on the boozy side in a good way. If you’re a lightweight, you’ll be good after one. Not too sweet but very refreshing.

American Beech/ Black Llama Bar

While everyone knows about places like Claudios, THIS was such a hidden gem and happy accident. After getting turned away from a winery for being a party over 6 (no shade here) because we ended up at this spot. This area within the American Beech Hotel was like secret zen garden, meets jungle , meets trendy Hamptons bar. I LOVED IT. There is also a restaurant and adorable boutique right there too. I noticed some really cute stuff in the boutique from just taking a quick browse inside. The decor, the vibe, and the drinks were great as well. I ordered the Sangria if you’re interested. Overall this place was 100% worth it, and I will definitely be back. 5 stars across the board.

Blending in with my surroundings. This blue printed two-piece shorts set is really effortless and gets tons of compliments as if you tried hard to look cute. I paired it with this adorable ruffled basket which says “Day on Long Island” and these spiked white slides which I have been loving to pair with everything this summer.
