Blue Jeans Done Up For A Casual Boozy Brunch Look

Remember pre pandemic when brunch was a thing…
Well not only did I go out for brunch recently for part two of the birthday celebrations, but it turned out to be quite a boozy brunch. Roslyn Social in Long Island has a Sunday brunch package (might also be for Saturdays too) where for around $53, you get family style food options and a champagne bottle PER PERSON, with the usual orange and peach juice for mixing. It was also super loud and club like in there. Everything was under control and spaced out and no one was really wandering around however, there were some tables that were definitely there to party in their own space, dancing, singing and letting loose. The ambiance is very trendy, fun, and pretty young although there is a definitely a mix of all ages.

Food wise, I mean I can’t judge. It definitely is not the best I ever had but that is to be expected with such a bundle. I’m assuming those who opt for the package are doing it for the value (and the champagne) and not necessarily the quality of the food. It wasn’t bad, except for the home fries which I didn’t particularly enjoy. It just seems a little “mass produced” and comes out all at once for multiple tables ordering the same exact thing. No complaints on the other food, it just was overall fine.

Included we had: avocado toast, a salad with goat cheese, homefries and bacon, chicken and waffle sandwiches, egg and cheese egg rolls (super creative) and cereal crusted toast stuffed with bananas and served with berries which I think was my personal favorite. I’d be interested to come back on a normal day and see what the deal is on the food front.

For my outfit I wore this satin and sheer top with a really cute open back tie detail. I didn’t want to look too over the top, so I toned it down with blue jeans and booties. However I also didn’t want to be too basic, so I glammed it up with this designer bag and my fur coat. I generally love this particular coat with blue jeans and think that it can be done up (or down) in so many ways.

  1. Such a chic outfit! I haven’t heard of a brunch/clubbing atmosphere before, but it honestly sounds super fun. Can’t wait for the end of pandemic days when I can finally party now that I’m 21!

    1. Hahah true! Stepping back into the sun is a little different than walking in haha. Thank you 🥰

  2. Looks like a lot of fun and even though the food wasn’t super top notch, it sounds like it was still pretty good deal for the bundle. You look gorgeous in this outfit, love the wings in the background. You definitely did not look basic. 🙂
