Citizens New York Food Crawl Experience: Katsuya, Casa Dani

Another amazing night filled with food and fashion. The Citizens Food Hall is far behind your food court style food. Now in an up and coming location around Hudson Yards, this food hall has tons of amazing multicultural options for a bite during your lunch break, post shopping, or really at any time wandering through Manhattan. Some vendors include Umami Burger, S Bar and Cindy Lou’s cookies all of which are amazing options. But the best part…the two new fine dining options including the first Katsuya location in New York, and a new restaurant by Michelin Star Chef Dani Garcia, Casa Dani.

I got to check out the food hall during the Citizens Food Crawl for the opening of this new location. While it was just some light bites being passed around, I can say I did get to experience a little something from almost all the vendors there. I mean this sincerely, it was all DELICIOUS. Really, no matter where you stop off for food you can’t go wrong. One of the favorites among the guests were the crispy ribs, which I can attest to were phenomenal.

The finer dining options of Casa Dani and Katsuya also offered delicious light bite options, but I am really looking forward to having some sit down meals at both of these locations. Both aesthetics are absolutely stunning and chic with an elegant modern ambience. I can almost guarentee these are going to be the new trendy hotspots for New Yorkers, but of course tourists as well.

For the look I went for a little rocker chic Manhattan vibe. The sequins leather combo definitely screams, night out on the town and I am still really into the shoulder pad boxy shirt style. The boots dress the look down a bit but you can always swap out the shorts for leather pants, jeans or mix and match with your accessories and shoes. I wouldn’t do anything too loud though, as a shirt like this one makes a statement on its own. The sequins and leather also would make great holiday look option. I am definitely seeing a New Years Eve outfit aesthetic, that is fun but that you can wear anywhere, at a house party or out.
