As the leaves turn and the air crisps, it’s time to refresh your wardrobe with the season’s standout colors and textures. For Fall 2025, I’ve curated three key trends that are making waves: burgundy and animal print, mocha mousse and suede, and olive monochrome. Each look captures the essence of fall while keeping your style modern, cozy, and effortlessly chic.
Burgundy / Animal Print
Burgundy & Animal Print: Bold Meets Classic
There’s something undeniably autumnal about deep burgundy tones, and pairing them with animal print adds just the right amount of edge. Think rich burgundy coats layered over leopard print blouses, or burgundy leather skirts paired with cheetah-print boots. The key is balance—let one piece make a statement while the other complements it subtly. This trend is perfect for elevating your everyday outfits or making a statement at brunch or a night out.
For my look I went with a classic knit pleated dress and paired it with a pop of leopard in the heels. I think it epitomizes the trends without having to try to hard.
Mocha Mouse, Chocolate Brown & Suede
Fifty shades of brown. Mocha mousse, this years color of the year, is such a favorite of mine and is such a flattering neutral. Chocolate brown of course is a classic and go-to for the fall season. And what is better than each, a combination of both.
Fall is the perfect time to indulge in textures that feel as good as they look. Enter mocha mousse the pantone color of the year, and suede—a trend built on cozy sophistication. From suede skirts and jackets to cashmere tops in soft mocha hues, this palette offers versatility and warmth. Styling tip: layer different textures in the same color family for a polished, multidimensional look that’s all about tactile appeal.
I went for this fun knit button down dress which I think adds a little sex appeal but still says fall. I also played with the makeup trends and added a chocolate brown lip to make a bold statement. I incorporated the suede elements in these stunning heels from YSL but a bootie would do just as well.
Olive Monochrome
Olive Monochrome: The Unexpected Neutral
Olive is the season’s underrated neutral but definitely one that is making a full comeback. A full monochrome look can feel both grounded and fashion-forward. Think olive trousers with a matching oversized blazer or a knit dress paired with boots or these khaki heels in the same shade. Mixing different fabrics—knits, leather, and wool—keeps the monochrome outfit visually interesting while maintaining a cohesive, effortlessly chic vibe.
I kept it even easier but just pairing a knit dress with the same toned heels and added a fun rustic rope belt. Of course I also had to match my pedicure too for the full effect.
Styling Tip for All Three Trends:
Fall fashion is all about texture, layering, and color harmony. Don’t be afraid to mix prints, layer neutrals, or add statement accessories like gold jewelry or structured bags to elevate your looks. These trends are versatile enough to transition from daytime coffee runs to evening cocktails, making them wardrobe staples for the season.
Whether you’re drawn to bold burgundy and animal print, soft mocha suede, or sophisticated olive monochrome, these trends offer endless opportunities to express your personal style this fall.
