Gwen Stefanis makeup fameously has involved pops of color and her beauty brand highlights this as well slowly releasing new products and very true to the singers branding.
What more perfect makeup brand to create a festival makeup look with?
I tried her new liquid shadows and pencil liners for the first time and so I wanted to include a review on the products as they are also new to the market.

GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI Paint It Up Clean 24-Hr Cream Eyeshadow
Claims: buildable, cream-to-powder eyeshadow with built-in eye primer technology for crease-proof, smudgeproof, fade-resistant color and 24-hour wear. Vegan creulety free clean at sephora and comes in recyclable packaging. Highlighted Ingredients: - Spherical Blurring Pigments: Create a smooth, even finish that won't emphasize texture or fine lines. Multiuse formula can be used as a quick wash of color, layered and blended together, as an eyeliner, or as an eyeshadow basethat is primer infused
Lately I have been really into more minimalist looks or, should I say, less fussy makeup looks. I absolutely love these shadows and how easy they are to work with. They are the epitome of a one and done product. You can use your fingers, a brush, or your fingers and then a brush to blur out the edges for a multidimensional and beautiful effect on the eyes that really adds something special and can stand alone for a complete eye look. Furthermore they really do last on the eye all day with their initial intensity wihhout a primer.
I bought the shade Midriff for more of an everyday color but it is way more than that. I love the tone of this shade, and layered up with some deeper shadows you have the perfect neutral smokey eye.
The shade Dip-Dye is more for the pop of color occasions which, ok, paired with the monochrome makeup style photographed below, is maybe not the most “wearable”, but, with just a light wash across the lids and blended out it can be something you use on a more consistent basis when paired with a more neutral lip. In fact I packed it on for a little drama but I have introduced this shade in a lot of my makeup looks lately.
Also, as mentioned, you can use it as a base and add other powder shadows on top of it and as a base it would just intensify what is on top of it. They are a true liquid to powder formula as promised. And again, they last ALL day on the eyes, making it a perfect product for sweaty days in the sun at a music festival.

GXVE BY GWEN STEFANI Line It Up Clean 24-Hr Gel Pencil Waterproof Eyeliner
A clean, creamy gel eyeliner pencil with ultra-pigmented color payoff and up to 24-hour long wear. Ingredient Callouts: This product is vegan, cruelty-free, and comes in recyclable packaging. Allows for playtime
This eyeliner is so impressive! I haven’t had such great results with an eyeliner in my waterline other than a gel pot since, well, like, forever. Even when swatched on my hand it took me washing my hands MULTIPLE times to get rid of it, and even then there was a nice little stain.
The shade Black Top is definitely unique, just a light black or dark grey with sparkles running through it. Since I have a pretty large makeup collection, I wanted to add something different to the stash and also thought the sparkle element would be the perfect touch to add to festival makeup. But honestly, I need this in every color. It is that good.

Festival Monochrome Makeup

For the moment you all have been waiting for: the real colorful monochrome makeup look which is perfect for festival season. I played with these magenta fuchsia berry shades and kept it consistent on the eyes cheeks and lips (as best as I could). Another thought that came to mind as well for this look is how on trend it is with the new Barbie movie released. This all pink makeup is definitely in Barbiecore theme if you find yourself looking for inspo in that as well.
