This happens all the time. I just can’t say no. When you find cheap travel deals for me, as long as time is permitted, I am ALWAYS in. This time a friend of mine and I are spending a week in Scotland, Denmark, and probably a day trip to Sweden. Now only a few days before we depart, I have family from abroad visiting, have a ton of work to catch up on, and almost no time to pack and get ready.
Roughly this is what I’ll be bringing in my makeup bag….A whole bunch of Neutrals. For this trip I chose things that are simple, are compact for travel, and could be mixed and matched to go with any outfit choice. Im also pretty proud that I narrowed it down to one of each product(except for lips..you need lip options) and highlight (two of those)
See below for product details and links. Let me know if you want to see a full breakdown of a look I use with the below. 🙂
Eyes:
Too faced chocolate bar palette: Cant go wrong neutrals that will match literally any look I am going for, day or night. Its tin case is also perfect (compact and sturdy for travel)
Lancome Grandios Mascara Extreme
Urban Decay Primer Potion Original (travel size)
Benefit Gimme Brow: I wear Shade 3
Loreal Gel Liner in Black: I like bringing a gel liner in a pot that way I have versatility. I can use it both in my water line or if I ever am in the mood for some winged liner.
Base: Keeping it to my tried and trues. I never usually experiment on vacation when I know Ill be taking photos and wanting to look my best without fussing with my makeup.
Becca Backlight Priming Filter: Perfect to add a little glow for winter dryness
Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation in Punjab: MY RIDE OR DIE FOUNDATION. Literally through summer sweat and winter dryness, this foundation looks perfect every time
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard: Lightweight with just the right about of coverage without every getting cakey. Paired with the Radiant longwear foundation and you have yourself a dream team
LA Girl Pro Conceal in Toast: I like cream contouring when I travel because I find that I don’t want to have to think about touching up my makeup during my sightseeing excursions. Having that extra layer underneath definitely adds some staying power and this concealer does the trick without lugging any palettes.
Too Face Chocolate Soliel Bronzer: Such a good one and done neutral bronzer/ extra contour powder
Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush in Exposed: Some trips I do end up with a blush palette of options, but if not this color is a go-to. Also neutral.
Becca Hydra Mist Powder: LOVE this for dry skin and helps my makeups staying power
Becca Highlighter in Opal: I like traveling with creme highlights because they look great on the skin, can be subtle or dramatic and I don’t have to worry about them breaking. I think this Becca one is out of stock or discontinued but linked below is the powder version of the same shade. STILL GORGEOUS.
Benefit Watts Up Highlighter: Perfect light champagne gold.
Lips: Light nude, Dark Nude, Transitional Winter into spring pop of color
