Continuing the lilac series…
Like I mentioned, when I get in these color phases, I definitely appreciate a monochrome moment, which is how I styled this jumpsuit for the Nordstrom x Domino Garden party to celebrate the launch of You Grow Gurl, the new book by internet sensation Plant Kween on how to grow your garden for Spring and Summer.
It was such a beautiful event with such amazing energy for no one more deserving than Christopher Griffin (Plant Kween). It was so much fun to get to know and spend some time with him. His positivity, kindness, humble and electric nature just made the room so vibrant and I am so excited for this book. The timing couldn’t be more perfect as we are currently in a full bloom phase and I definitely encourage you checking out the book and his page.
I mean I would expect nothing less than an impeccable tablescape designed by Domino editor Kate Berry. The party provided so much inspiration for home decor this season.
I love monochrome looks because there is just so much you can do with it. It is a sure fire way to always look put together and gives you a fun canvas to accessorize, or play with some cool makeup (which by the way I also kept monochrome with a more mauve-y lip color). What better way to wear the color of the season but by being covered in it from head to toe.
On another note, roof top season is upon us! To close out the night I also made a brief stop at another new great spot that just opened up, Serafina in the Sky at the Pod Hotel in midtown. It is open for both food and drink and of course has a great ambience and views. Worth checking out this summer.
