Nothing says a start of summer like a good margarita and little Taco Tuesday action. For me, Besito fits the bill on all counts. The ambience is warm, nothing too crazy decor wise, but the food is excellent and the crowed that comes in brings a nice overall vibe. You definitely feel as though you’re having yourself a “night out” any night of the week that you decide to go, as it can get super busy and they pick up even more during the weekend with their two for one margarita and brunch deals.
Here is a little rundown on what we ordered:

Patron Silver Tequila, cucumber, chile de arbol, Cointreau, agave nectar, fresh squeezed lime
MI Rosa Margarita
Casa Dragones blanco, Cointreau, guava nectar, simple syrup, fresh squeezed lime, chile poblano salt rim
The cocktails are awesome, and as mentioned a great day to check them out is Sundays with the 2 for 1 deal. I tried both the Mi Rosa and El Pepino. Both were good but if I had to choose, I would take the Pepino.

Freshly made! Hass avocado, tomato, jalapeño, onion, salt, cilantro. Served fresh homemade salsa & with tortilla chips
A basic but solid guacamole, it is definitely worth getting as a starter and great to share.

Queso fresco, chile molido, off the cob
The Mexican street corn had that nice char flavor that definitely gives me summer BBQ feels. It was also super tasty with the seasoning and cheese.

Baked queso chihuahua, rajas, chorizo, onions, cilantro. Served with warm corn tortillas
I mean it’s melted cheese with some toppings. You can’t really go wrong if you are in the mood to indulge.

queso chihuahua, spinach, rajas, corn, pico de gallo, crema, salsa verde cruda.
For me the vegetable quesadilla was a wild card as I would never have thought to order it, since I steer towards the meat options. This dish was so tasty and unique and as a veggie option it is filling but not heavy as well. I would definitely order it again.

Grilled marinated skirt steak, queso chihuahua, poblano rajas, salsa verde cruda. Served with warm corn tortillas. (Salsas served on side. Served from the skillet, easy to reheat if desired).
I highly highly recommend the Carna Asada Iron Skillet Tacos (ie – another way to say fajita). They were delicious and cooked to perfection you almost don’t need any of the other elements, but they are great additions when you do create a little taco for yourself. The melted queso and poblanos on the skillet especially. 10/10 and can’t be skipped.

Besito also serves up some great desserts. The ice cream claimed to have some banana element, which I didn’t get much of a banana flavor, however it was some good ice cream. The chocolate mouse was also very tasty rich and creamy. The tres leches had a great consistency and also just a yummy cake/dessert. They all tasted very fresh and just depending on your taste buds, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with any of the orders.

Besito also does have a few other locations on the island. For more info check out the website here.
