Uncork Your Potential: A Night of Mindset, Motivation & Meaningful Connections 🍷🧠
This month marked a special milestone for Era en Vogue with the launch of my first fully hosted event—Uncork Your Potential, a mindset mixer designed to spark inspiration, intention setting, and elevated conversation. It was an unforgettable evening of connection, self-growth, and style, with a coaching session led by the incredibly dynamic Bryant Cartagena, certified Tony Robbins trainer, who guided us through powerful strategies for unlocking our next level.
The setting was just as thoughtful as the message. A heartfelt thank you to our generous partners who helped shape the experience:
✨ WorkHouse NYC—our stunning venue partner, a beautifully designed, modern space that brought creative energy and elegance to the evening.
🍞 Casa Toscana, for their handcrafted focaccia that brought a warm, authentic touch of Tuscany to the table.
🍷 La Esquina, whose sangria has been a longstanding staple in the city that we were lucky to share with out guests adding the perfect celebratory note to the night. The perfect sip for summer—bold, bright, and perfectly on-brand.
Hosting this event was more than just a moment—it was the beginning of a new Era (pun intended), and I’m so grateful to share this journey with such an inspiring community. Thank you to everyone who joined, the energy in the room was truly next-level.
CHILE PACIFICO
The Chile Pacífico event in New York City was a true celebration of Chile’s rich and diverse bounty from land and sea. Guests experienced a curated walk-around tasting featuring 20 premier wineries, showcasing the country’s distinct terroirs and world-class varietals. In addition, six artisanal Pisco Chile producers brought the spirit of the Andes to life with pours of their heritage-crafted liquors, alongside tastings of pure Andes Mountain water—a rare opportunity to savor Chile’s natural purity.
Culinary highlights included a sashimi bar spotlighting ARKAS Antarctic salmon, served in its purest, most delicate form, offering a taste of the pristine Southern Ocean. Guests also indulged in a sampling of Kenoz caviar, sourced from the icy southern waters of Chile, adding a touch of luxurious brine to the experience.
More than just a tasting, Chile Pacífico was a journey through the country’s culinary excellence and natural wonders—an unforgettable evening that brought the flavors and craftsmanship of Chile straight to NYC.
HUMAN FOOTPRINT SEASON TWO PREMIER AT THE EXPLORERS CLUB
The Season Two premiere of PBS’s Human Footprint took place at the iconic Explorers Club in New York City. The event celebrated the launch of a powerful episode exploring how our global food system and the fashion industry shape the world around us—revealing the hidden costs of convenience we often overlook. A compelling panel discussion followed, moderated by journalist Constance White, featuring Human Footprint host Dr. Shane Campbell-Staton, director Nate Dappen, fashion designer Frederick Anderson, and investigative journalist Benjamin Lorr, all of whom contributed deeply to the episode’s narrative.
On the food side, Dr. Campbell-Staton and Benjamin Lorr dove into how industrialized agriculture has shaped everything from our environment to our physical health and food access. Lorr spoke to the human cost behind cheap grocery store prices—from labor exploitation to environmental degradation—prompting guests to consider how our food ends up on our plates and who pays the real price. The discussion challenged attendees to think more critically about the supply chains behind what we consume, and the systems that enable exploitation in the name of convenience and affordability.
Frederick Anderson brought that same lens to the fashion industry, sharing personal insights into how the industry can—and must—evolve. His remarks highlighted the tension between creativity and sustainability, and he emphasized the importance of designers using their platforms to make conscious choices. He called attention to how the word sustainability has become an overused industry buzzword—often stripped of meaning and used more as marketing than as a call to action. In an age of fast fashion, he noted, even the most innovative creative ideas are quickly diluted as they trickle down to mass-market iterations. The speed at which the industry operates not only undermines sustainability, but also stifles originality and artistry. Anderson’s perspective was a powerful reminder that true change in fashion requires slowing down—not just in production, but in thought, intention, and design.
The episode aired on Wednesday, June 26, on PBS and is now available for streaming on the PBS app and PBS.org. Trust me—once you watch, you’ll never see your wardrobe or dinner plate the same way again. It’s a powerful invitation to rethink our everyday choices and embrace a more intentional way of living.
