Opening Of Gregory Thielker Exhibit At Arlo Soho Living Room Gallery
The Arlo Living Room Gallery curated by Jasmine Arakel, featuring pieces by emerging and celebrated artists alike on loan from local partner gallery, Guy Hepner, launched their newest exhibit entitled “The Liquid Night” by Gregory Thielker this month. Thiekler, an American artist currently based in Paris drew inspiration by focusing on the feeling of driving after hours, when darkness has set in. “These paintings build upon his popular series of views while driving in the rain, rendered in a highly realistic manner, and is an exploration of the unnoticed moment inside the car. Within his work, we see both the outside world and yet remain detached from it, safe to let thoughts wander and emotions enter in. “
