First off, I would like to congratulate all of the filmmakers for the accomplishment of being selected to participate in the festival. I would of course congratulate and applaud all the award winners for their amazing work. Finally, I would like to congratulate and thank the Alexandrion Group for inviting me to share in this fantastic night.

The mission of the Greek Film Festival is to give a shining moment to Greek culture. All of the films relate in one way or another to Greece, its history, language, and overall way of life in the past or present. The closing ceremony included awarding various films in different areas for their exceptional work, as well as musical performances, of course in Greek. There was also a special appearance and speech made by Ernie Anastos, who repeatedly remarked his pride in his Greek Heritage.
No secret here, after you may have seen tons of posts from my summer in Greece, I have a deep love for my roots. The evening was closed out with a beautiful reception with food and drinks and the chance to mingle with other guests. Being involved in such a night felt great as I connected with other proud Greeks and the talented people involved in the festival.

The Alexandrion Foundation, aside from their strong presence in the hospitality industry, especially Wine and Spirits, are committed to promoting cultural values. As the Grand Benefactor of the event, I would like to extend a sincere thank you for the invitation and wish them continued success.

I especially loved my outfir for this event. The boat neck and pencil cut is so sophisticated and elegant. The navy blue to be a little more connected to the Greece theme.
