A Full Fall Day in Long Island, New York (Not Too Far East)

I am one of those people who enjoy every season for what they are. Before you all get into the holiday spirit, there is still plenty of fall left to enjoy. When people think fall activities., they generally do think of pretty far out east for the various farm and vineyard options. However, you can have yourself a day relatively close to the city.

Here is a recap of a spontaneous day enjoying the fall weather and seasonal activities.

Jericho Cider Mills

We started the day at Jericho Cider Mills for some awesome warm cider and these cider donuts. They have tons of other options to choose from, but these were great, and I definitely recommend them.

Del Vino Vineyards

Not too far off in Huntington we stumbled upon Del Vino Vineyards. This place is such a gem and a lot closer than the rest of Wine Country in Long Island. Gorgeous grounds, amazing/ friendly staff, and delicious wine and bites. We tried the Suprema Red wine this time and the meat and cheese platter. I can say I am definitely a regular at this spot.

Feed And Grain

Eventually we had to eat. We stopped by Feed and Grain in Northport and were also very satisfied with our choices. We tried the Lobster Gnocchi, the shrimp basket and we of course could not resist dollar oysters at the bar.

Sand City Brewery

Finally, to close off the night we paid a visit to Sand City Brewery. It has a casual, cool vibe. Be warned it is pretty small and standing room only. This place gets pretty packed but luckily, we made it before closing and were able to find a space. Known for their IPs they had a great selection of brews that I really enjoyed. It is worth visiting in my opinion.

For my first real fall activity of the season, I really wanted to show off my new Mucros bag I bought in Ireland. It SCREAMED fall to me with the color scheme and textures. I kept it very matchy matchy with a matching rust colored cold shoulder top and my favorite go-to black jeans.

Style Tip:

While Burgundy, and chocolate brown may be the color of the moment, you can’t go wrong with the deep earth tones of fall, such as with this burnt orange top. Jeans, leggings and booties and you have yourself classic fall outfit.
