The time has come for the Sephora Holiday sale, one of only two that they host ALL year! As always, there are a ton of great gift ideas, value sets, and it is generally just a great time to grab some higher price tag items OR to stock up on your favorite items that you know you use, love, and could always use a back up on. For this line up of items, I included some of my favorite products that I HIGHLY recommend, some best selling items that I have been dying to try, and items that just simply make the most sense for the product quality and value.
Grab a cup of coffee and a snack. This is going to be a long one.
Skincare
I generally like to go for value sets during the sale. Skincare in general is very hit or miss, but it definitely is pricey. That is why I like to get a sampling of the different products and can see whether or not they work. It also takes out the guess work of what pairs well together.
Hair
A great time to get hair tools and I always find it the best time to invest in the value sets. You get the hair tool you’re longing to try, plus a bunch of deluxe samples. The Moroccan Oil and Briogeo sets are some of my favorites and come at a great value.
Body
The Sol De Jienero and Moroccon Oil scents are heavenly to say the least. Both creams are so rich and beautiful. L’occitane hand creams are also such great quality and the value price to try all these scents is definitely worth it to me.
Base Products
Primer
Some great picks for every skin type. I can definitely attest to the Skinglass primer by Farsali and the Becca Backlight Priming filter. They are some of my favorites for my parched skin type and do a great job of keeping my makeup on. I also really enjoy the Tatcha Silk Canvas for a thicker more blurring product. It is sort of a hybrid of a primer that is a little more lightweight and wont dry me out.

Foundation
You all probably know already the NARS foundation is my Holy Grail. But these by Shisedo, La Mer, Ko Jen Do are some I have had my eye on. They are a little more on the pricier side so it would be a great time to pick them up. I also added the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer which is a cult classic and a powder foundation if that is your preference. I have heard only rave reviews about this one from Make Up Forever.
Concealer
Again, you know. I am a die hard for the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I also am a huge lover of their pot concealer for spot concealing as it is such a great thicker formula without being cakey for dry skin. I am also a big fan of the Sephora Brand Serum Concealer. It’s a great price and so lightweight so perfect for more natural looks and multiple skin types.
Powder
Inlcuded some loose and pressed powders that work great for all skin types. These are great setting powders because they are lightweight and don’t necessarily leave the skin looking completely matte, one dimensional, and dry.
Bronzer
All such great products that give such a natural bronze look to the skin. Great natural undertones and shade ranges too.
Cream
Powder
Shimmer
Contour Palette
Great neutral and ashier tones for the most natural looking contour. I am a fan of each of these smooth formulas
Blush
Blush tends to be the first thing that fades on a makeup look. These products have beautiful color ranges, smooth formulas, and last on the skin quite long.

Highlight
One thing I will say about all these highlighters are that they are all great and versatile formulas. None are too shocking and stark off the bat and if anything just leave a more subtle fresh glow to the skin. There are a couple however such as the Watts App Cream Highlighter by Benefit and Becca Highlighters that definitely can be built up for something more intense. A note on the palette by Cover Effects: It has both cream and powder formulas in beautiful natural shades. I love the sublety and versatility in this product as it is general very soft and pretty but when you layer both it can also give you more of a pop.

Eyes
Primer
Great formulas to prolong your makeup looks. The NARS and Makeup by Mario are great as they come in different colors to cancel out any discoloration on your eyes.
Palette
The thing I wanted to include for palettes this sale was:
a) Versatile palettes for ANY occasion such as the Born To Run palette by Urban Decay which has both neutral and pops of color which can create any look for you. Soft, Bold, Smokey, Colorful etc. The Soft Glam Palette is also a great neutral staple to have.
b) Great quality higher price palettes like the Pat McGrath or Natasha Denona palettes. The shadows are definitely quality and beautiful, and both brands have great options and color ways. If you have been eyeing them, the sale is the time to splurge.
Just in general I find the NARS to be an in between of these categories
Liner
I look for black, creamy, and long wearing. These are all those things.
Pencil
Gel
Liquid
Mascara
Top notch mascaras that have great performance in at least the categories of length and volume.
Brow
Realistic tones for the brows and formulas that are easy to use and last.
Gel
Pencil
Lips
I stuck to some of my higher end and pricier favorites for this category since I have mentioned, if you want to treat yourself, now is the time.
Lip Balm/ Mask
Liner
Liquid Lip
Lipstick
Lipgloss
Tools and Extras
Just some of those extra things that you may want to consider adding. Beauty Blenders are such an essential tool for me and when I saw this value set including cleaners I had to include it. Also the Cinema Secrets Brush cleaner is a MUST for me. Especially for someone who almost never deep cleans brushes this works amazing and dries almost instantly. I always get it in bulk too. Face rollers are just one of those luxurious extras. I have actually yet to try some myself but I’ll be adding to my cart this sale.

Hi Angelica,
Nice shopping list! When it comes to buying ordinary beauty products, there’s nothing like Sephora. I really love this place.
