Recently I tried Simihaze Beauty. It was one of those new drops at Sephora and I was immediately inspired to pick some stuff up. The mission at Simihaze is fun and expressive makeup to take you from day to night and they have a pretty large range of products for eyes face and lips (although for the full range you would have to visit the actual Simihaze website as not all products are available at Sephora. For starters I love how unique and fun and whimsical the packaging is although it definitely is a bit bulkier for on-the- go type of makeup.
My eyes widened with how pigmented this product was off of one swipe. It has a beautiful velvety texture that is matte and it really does hold up quite nicely. It is also a really lightweight formula so you don’t even feel it on the lips. I have the shade sunrise which is a beautiful light pink for Spring but there are 16 bold and new shades to choose fun.
Claims: A tubular mascara that lengthens and defines lashes without clumping, smudging, or smearing. Highlighted Ingredients: - Rose Oil and Rosewater: Condition and boost lash elasticity. - Rice Bran Wax: Densifies lashes without weighing them down. - Candelilla Wax: Adds glide for a smooth application.
I think the mascara is good not great. I think it is really nice for the natural every day looks but not too buildable for an all in one mascara. I will say that it definitely holds up great without flaking off and has a lightweight texture.
I love this blush and thinks it adds such a freshness and healthy look to the face. It gives you a sheer glossy finish with a nice amount of pigment that is buildable. It is on the pricier side but again, a little goes a long way and there is tons of product. There are 5 color options but I have mine in Dawn.
Claims: A multiuse tint for cheeks and eyes infused with skin-soothing ingredients for a filtered, flushed-from-within effect. The finish is dewy, not shiny. Highlighted Ingredients: - Allantoin: Soothes skin. - Hyaluronic Acid: Draws in moisture to keep skin looking fresh and plump.
Claims:This blush duo has a velvet-cream pigment on one side and a sheer, emollient-rich balm on the other. Infused with skin-soothing, antioxidant-rich camellia oil, both formulas melt seamlessly into skin for a flushed-from-within effect.
Again, a little goes a long way with another highly pigmented product by Simihaze. I have only used this product on my cheeks so far but it gives a nice natural finish. The coloring is very authentic to what a flushed look would be and I find myself using this product often as it is very versatile. It also lasts really well on the skin and think is a great product for spring summer heat proof makeup looks. There are 6 shades and I have mine in Sun Flush.
Claims: ONLY AT SEPHORA What it is: A cushiony, hydrating, light-reflective lip gloss with otherworldly shine. Formulation Type: Lip Gloss Benefits: Hydrating Highlighted Ingredients: - Shine-Boosting Polymers: Heighten shine by wrapping lips in light-reflective moisture. his gloss clings to lips with special polymers that trap moisture, smoothing out visible lines and promoting a fuller appearance. The formula also contains floating pearl dust for a mesmerizing shimmer.
I do really like the glassy shine of this gloss and think that it has a nice effect on the lips however it doesn’t wow me over many other glosses in my collection. It really isn’t a one swipe and done kind of product and I notice myself needing a little extra for the desired affect. The texture is also a little gritty which doesn’t bother me but is just something to be aware of. There are four shade options and mine is in Aries.
It seems like such a simple product but I am obsessed with this lip balm. It is very sheer but high shine with just a touch of tint to the lips. It is so nourashing and plush feeling on the lips. It doesn’t last the longest but truthfully no balm does. My only gripe is that while cute and conveniently small I wish there was more product, especially for the price. There are 7 shades and I have the shade Breeze.
