To celebrate Pride, luxury fashion brand The Blonds partnered with Morotola Razr to host an event to benefit the New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti Violence Project. It was definitely a night to remember with delicious specialty cocktails sponsored by Bacardi, a performance by Tinashe, a little runway show featuring fun festive designs, and of course a guest list of the industries best. Not to mention, there are few venues as gorgeous as the Top of the Standard (Boom Boom Room) in the Standard Hotel.
Now The Blonds designs are anything if not glamorous but they also bring a lot of edge to their designs too. I knew that this occasion was one to definitely bring some drama to my look. They do a lot of work with crystals and chains, and of course, I like coming in theme so I knew it was time to break out this little slinky number. There are a number of ways to style it but I wanted to keep it in a somewhat safe (but still chic) zone by pairing it with these satin wide legged pants. You’re probably used to seeing me in big loose curls (shout out to Dry Bar), but to bring even more edge to the look I finally decided to play around with my hairstyle. I love this braided mohawk and think it compliments the overall look and vibe so well. You may not be able to tell but I also went dramatic in the makeup as well with a gunmetal smoky eye to compliment the silver top. As you can see for the multiple photo shots, I was definitely happy with how the look came out.
I love industry parties and getting to mingle with some wonderful people. There was such great energy during this event.
