With Thanksgiving coming up this week and the holiday season around the corner, we are well into the season of giving, and what better way to spread joy and make a difference than by volunteering in New York City? Unfortunately, circumstances in the world continue to negatively spiral and people need a little more help now more than ever. There are numerous organizations in the city and throughout New York that are dedicated to helping those in need, and by lending a helping hand, you can truly make a positive impact.
There are several ways you can contribute (even if not especially non monetarily) to give back this holiday season:
One of the most impactful ways to give back is by volunteering at a local shelter.
