Brac Island, Croatia Photo Diary and Shopping

One of my favorite islands of Croatia! I mean I guess they all are…but I definitely make it a point to visit Brac every year during my summer visits. Only an hour away from Split there is so much to see and tons of beautiful cities on the island. However when visiting I highly recommend you don’t skip on Bol, home to to the “symbol of the Adriatic”, Zlatni Rat beach. Bol has a beautiful, I guess you could call it a street, but a pathway under the pines with lots of cute boutique stands for souvenirs and a bunch of restaurants and cafes. On your walk you’ll find access to a bunch of the beautiful beaches below you. You can’t go wrong no matter which you choose.

Zlatni Rat

One of the most famous beaches in Croatia and even in Europe. Zlatni Rat is definitely an exceptional beach. If you love water sports such as windsurfing this is also a great place to check it out or to learn. I hear great things about the surf school here although I have yet to try it myself. I also got lucky enough this year to make it through a whole sunset. That was such a simple yet incredible experience and I would say if you can to also enjoy it by the beach.

Like I Said It Doesn’t Matter Which Beach You End Up At..

On the walk towards Zlatni Rat, we just walked down to one of the beaches. I don’t even know the name to this one but it sure is beautiful. So even if you stumble upon a random spot, you won’t be disappointed.

These photos were taken on that pine path to Zlatni Rat as mentioned before. Gorgeous views every step you take.

Cafe Bar Bolero

Such a perfect place for a great cocktail with chill vibes, music, and gorgeous scenery. By day it has ocean views and your surrounded by all the pine trees, feeling like you have your own secluded space.

Taverna Riva

.

Crni Rizot (Black Risotto) is own of my favorite foods ever and I would say is the number one recommendation I have food wise when visiting Croatia. It’s filling, not outrageous in price, and completely delicious. This one from Taverna Riva was extremely well done. The restaurant also has beautiful views and really great service. It is located directly on the Riva (or main port boardwalk) so really convenient to grab a nearby drink or go for a walk after.

Stina Vino Vinarija – Stina Vino Vineyards

Located a short walk from Taverna Riva, Stina Vino Vineyards is also right on the water of the boardwalk. It has such cute cushions leaving your feet to dangle over the sand. Those seats do tend to fill up quickly but there is plenty of extra seating both indoors and outdoors. This claims to be the first Dalmatian Wine Cooperative and while I am a little uneducated about the vineyards history, I can say one thing, this bottle of sparkling wine was delicious. It is also a great ambiance for a date night.

Black Deep Slit Maxi Dress

Who doesn’t love a good maxi dress to throw on in the summer, fall, spring. Because of its length and simplicity it is definitely versatile and can be accessorized differently for a variety of occasions. I kept it simple and just threw on some flip flops and a red lip for a more casual night out. The deep neckline and long slits make it really sexy too.

White Lightweight Rompers

Nothing says summer more than an all white look. Rompers are so easy and again, versatile. I’ve worn this one with heals for a night out and, obviously as shown, wore it as a daytime look and bathing suit cover.

Satin Crop Tops

I love this top. Conservative-ish in the front, sexy in the back. I think it is perfect for a summer night out and can be also mixed and matched to create so many different looks. I paired it with some light wash blue jeans to dress it down a bit but the fabric and style can also be dressed up for for a glam night out.

For other beaches on the Dalmatian Coast be sure to check out my last post here.
