NYFW Recap: Frederick Anderson Fall Ready-to Wear 2022

I am absolutely blown away. Frederick Anderson KILLED it this season with his Fall 2022 Ready to Wear collection.

After everything we have been through in the last few years, this was a collection that made me truly excited about fashion again. Excited about nights out and feeling sexy, showing some skin and playing with color. There was so much attention to detail in the delicate beading, the loose but very chic tailoring, the play on colors with vibrant pops of teal, blues, reds and pinks. I also loved the sexy and sophisticated crochet knitted pieces. The collection also definitely showcased a lot of sex appeal but in a tasteful and beautiful way that makes you want to step out of your comfort zone and bare it all.

There was such a vast range of gorgeous designs to take you from day to night and a wide variety of occasions. Anderson definitely covered all his bases. There really was nothing I didn’t like about the show. Even the music choices kept things very fun, fresh and new, and the overall environment was very exciting as well.

I could continue to rave about this stunning collection but aside from the fashion, it has to be mentioned of how special Frederick Anderson the man is. There are many talented designers out there, but there is something special about meeting someone with so much talent and success who presents himself so humbly and with grace. I had the privilege to hang out with Frederick a bit at his after party and just to see how warm he was with all his guests after the show was incredible to witness. It was refreshing to be around someone so kind and down to earth and with so much positive energy. In an industry that can get a bad reputation for the stuck up and cold attitudes, Frederick Anderson is a far cry from any of those stereotypes.

This show and experience was a definite highlight to my fashion week. I am beyond excited to see what is to come for Frederick Anderson, the brand and the designer.
