If you are late to the game attending holiday events or just now getting started planning your holiday outfits, here are some ideas to get you started on holiday outfits. From super glam parties and dazzling New Years Eve looks, to more casual but still festive styles this guys is a great starting off point but that still leaves tons of room to add your own personal touch. Also, these trends and ideas can be recycled for your winter fashion styling as well.
This Seasons Trends
So as you may have already seen around the hottest trends of the season: chocolate brown, burgundy, slouchy wide leg pants, and oversized blazers. When visiting one of the most talked about NYC spots lately (which mind you is just an impressive scaffold display by Louis Vuitton on 5th Avenue), I decided to go all out and style these trends all together. Burgundy and the dark brown colors complement each other well and in some lighting even looks monochrome.
Knits & Winter White
Winter white is always a go to of mind throughout the season and makes a fun styling options for the holidays. The knits are always a classic cozy option for the season and all white as a blank canvas makes it a great choice to have fun with your creative expression. Embrace the holiday spirit with pops of red or green. An easy way to apply this is through your makeup such as a red lip or deep green smokey eye. You can also stick with the trends, which for this year has been espresso brown at center stage.
Festive Sequins
Whether for a Christmas outfit but especially for a New Years Eve look, you can never go wrong with a sequins number. Go full out with some bedazzled boots and blazers or keep it simple with a showstopping sequins dress. Remember sequins are pretty much self styling and don’t need too much extra effort to look complete. Opt for a less is more look with basic stud earings that compliment and a silver gold bag keeping with the festive theme but not challenging the sequins.
