Another last minute weekend trip for me! A whole 3 days in Dublin, but any kind of family time, especially in Europe is worth it.
Here is what we saw and did…

Trinity College
Aside from just some scenic grounds, one must visit the Book of Kells. Containing the 4 gospels and gorgeous illustrations, the Book of Kells is a beautiful piece of history.

St Stephens Green

Christ Church Cathedral

St Patricks Cathedral

Guiness Factory
This was such a unique and interactive tour, one of the best I have ever been on. With amazing views of all of Dublin, and a free Guiness at the top, this was definitely a highlight of the trip for us.

Dublin Castle

Temple Bar
The center of Dublins culture, nightlife, and granted…tourism. Lots of bustling bars and pubs with live music and places to eat that are beautifully illuminated and decorated just as I’d always imagine an Irish pub to be. These spots definitely get loud and crowded but while although filled with tourists, feels quite authentic.

Dublin is gorgeous
Thank you! Yes we had a lovely time! 🙂
Awesome pictures…
Thanks so much!!! 🙂
I like that your travel blogs are easy to understand. My wife and I visited Dublin last year. The key to enjoying Temple Bar and other downtown sites seems to be the need to find an accessible flat to stay nearby the downtown corridor and/or railroad terminal Especially when it rains.
