10 Years Of New York Fashion Week & What I Wore

Another New York Fashion Week in the dust. This one was a very special one for me as it marked 10 years participating. Now although ERA en Vogue has been around for only a handful of those years, I am still proud of the journey I have had in the industry for the past decade and the growth, friendships, and experiences along the way. With that said, I am just getting started and can’t wait for what lies ahead and many more fashion weeks in New York and beyond.

Here is the overall of my schedule for NYFW SS25 and what I wore for the occasion.

Be sure to check out my show and collection recaps here.

Day 1:

On The Schedule
  1. Aiste Hong Show
  2. Aiste Hong After Party
    • Held at this seasons hotspot The Highlight Room
  3. Christian Siriano After Party
    • Exclusive party held at Hearsay Social Club in Meatpacking
      • See Instagram (angelica_e) for live coverage
Style Tip:

This is a bit of a high low moment. It is cool girl meets a little feminine chic vibe. I think that the pleated skort its generally cute, trendy and fashion forward while denim is a staple for transition weather and Spring, which is the current season showing. Combine with a silk blouse it was a good combination for a day to night look.

On The Schedule
  1. Malan Breton Show
  2. Evan Hirsch Presentation
Style Tip

Knowing that my shows/presentation today were a little avant garde, I went with a classic black look but with statements in the large oversized bow in the back (not pictured) and dramatic colorful makeup.

On The Schedule
  1. Alexis Bittar Presentation
  • See instagram angelica_e for live coverage
Style Tip:

For this look I kept things sleek and sexy with this gingham blazer, which definitely says “Spring Summer”, as the season showing, and let the accessories shine. It was an accessory event after all.

Day 4:

On The Schedule
  1. Z Crave Show & Store Party
  2. What Goes Around Comes Around Event
  • Check out my Instagram angelica_e stories for live coverage from the show and events
Style Tip

Strolling through Soho brings out my NYC streetwear chic side. Pin stripe slacks but make them oversize, a plain white tee, some designer shades and a pop of color with the bag, make for a classic but cool look.

Day 6:

On The Schedule
  1. Frederick Anderson Show
  2. Lost Pattern Show
  3. Shao Show
  4. Frederick Anderson After Party
    • Held at Nebula club with a performance by Crystal Waters
Style Tip

Ah the anniversary look. This is the exact dress I wore 10 years ago when I began my career working for Altuzarra. I wore the look to the Altuzarra for Target Collaboration party and again for the final day of NYFW SS25. A classic little black dress with a pop of color in the shoes, and eye makeup.
