I think New York is over that second summer and false Fall phase, and we are officially into the swing of Fall weather and Fall fashion. Nothing epitomizes that more to me than plaid, cardigans, and booties. During a visit to Heritage at Bethpage, (which is a golf course, restaurant, and event space/catering hall), I combined them all into one cute look. I also added some layered gold necklaces which if you check out any of my other style tips, I think is such an easy way to bring a little something to any look. Usually there are so many affordable options to achieve it too. I also think a look like this is versatile for a variety of occasions. A girls day out for a walk, lunch, a vineyard, (insert your fall activity here).

Braised Short Rib, Caramelized Onion, Harvati Jack Cheese Served on Texas Toast with a Side of Au Jus
While visiting, we did stay for some lunch at the restaurant called the Bethpage Public House. I had the Short Rib Grilled Cheese and the Blackened Shrimp Wrap. Both were good and I don’t have any solid complaints other than both can use some more sauce or dressing. I did have some higher expectations for a flavor bomb from the grilled cheese, but it was still pretty good. I actually really loved the fries and thought that those were addicting and cooked to perfection. They did have an overall intriguing menu so I think that if you’re in the area or need some grub after golf, this is a worthy lunch spot.
